The ushers play a vital role in keeping order and a reverent decorum in the sanctuary during the worship service. Welcoming guests and members as they enter the worship service, leading individuals to open seats, and controlling movement and noise during the progression of the service are things among their important duties. In short, the ushers exist to ensure that everyone is able to participate and enjoy the worship experience and leave with a renewed spirit.
