Adventurers Club is a fun, character-building boys and girls open to children as young as 2 years old through age 10. The club gets children involved in learning about God in a hands-on way. Its mission is to “serve an intercultural community of children from pre-kindergarten through fourth grade and their parents or guardians and assist Adventurer families in growing as followers of Jesus.” The club meets on the first and third Sundays throughout the school year from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The children complete craft projects, learn simple marching drills, and complete workbooks that teach spiritual lessons. The completion of each workbook earns the child a badge. They also go on two camping trips per year (parents required), and field trips to museums, zoos, farms and other interesting places.
The children wear a uniform of blue tee shirts during their regular meetings and a formal uniform on other occasions.
